Human Presence in Space

image

Major challenge of our civilization is to make Earth habitable for millennia to come and major step to satisfy its yearning for knowledge is to inhabit Space. Space must not be the escape root for humans from inhabitable Earth. Facing the challenges of humans settling in Space shall be reviewed and new ideas in science and technology that meet them shall be discussed. National Park Brijuni is ideal place for disseminating Space science and technology in the tranquility of beautiful nature.

Life and intelligence

Dialogue of two visitors from Sirus and Saturn to Earth about the meaning of life and intelligence. One of the best written tracts on this subject.

Machines and intelligence

Writers of science fiction articulate primeval longings of humans to reach Space, but only few of them combine fiction and science.  Perhaps the most famous is Arthur C. Clarke with his stories that also carry profound perspective of the possible future. Global communication is reality, machine intelligence is in the making and inhabited space station is for the future.

Dreams come true

There are always those who realize their dreams. Rockets have been around for millennia but real first steps making them means for reachong Space were made by K.E. Tsiolkovsky and R. H. Goddard. The former gave theoretical foundation of rocket technology  and contemplated space travel (left photo) whilst the latter made the first modern rocket (right photo).
